I have been ever since I woke up this morning. XXX My reply was almost always the same, too—“It’s a small price to pay for your safety and for the safety of our child.” Then I’d kiss her and hold her in my arms. I know all of that and more from my dad. “You’re a virgin?”
“Yes…shameful isn’t it?”
“Maybe we should step back and think about this. We held the kiss for almost a minute as everyone applauded, even the cops. She must have lain on top of me semi-conscious for twenty minutes, at least. What…what are you doing here?”
I ignored his nervousness, speaking clearly and calmly in an attempt to defuse the situation. I really believe that was the biggest reason he became a teacher.
