In order to make a good story, you have to make characters we can relate to, sympathize with, root for or just plain want to see them get beat down. Oh the idea of survival in a post apocalyptic word inhabited by humans and those mutated by a horrible virus has potential, but given the direction the author is taking this one – well if that’s what it takes to blow your dress up by all means continue reading the series.
